Element North Kansas City is seeking a dependable, energetic, and hospitality-focused Breakfast Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys early morning hours, works well independently, and takes pride in preparing quality breakfast items while creating a positive start to each guest’s day.
As a Breakfast Cook, you will help deliver a clean, organized, and welcoming breakfast experience by preparing and maintaining breakfast offerings in accordance with Marriott and Element brand standards. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of presentation, consistency, cleanliness, and guest interaction in a hotel environment.
This position requires early morning availability and is ideal for individuals seeking part-time hours with mornings completed early in the day.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain hotel breakfast items in accordance with brand standards
• Cook and replenish hot breakfast items throughout service
• Ensure breakfast area remains clean, stocked, organized, and guest-ready at all times
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep, and storage areas
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and breakfast setup/breakdown
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Support overall guest satisfaction and breakfast experience

Qualifications:
• Previous breakfast cook, line cook, prep cook, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food presentation
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Food Handler or ServeSafe Certification preferred but not required
• Previous breakfast cook, line cook, prep cook, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
